Where to stay in Barcelona [HOTEL]

In Barcelona there are thousands and thousands of hotels where you can stay and the price depends on the area, the quality of the hotel, if you are only one person or couple, and how early you book.

First, I recommend booking through AIRBNB, a website where you can find cheap rooms or apartments rented by individuals. It is a cheap option dedicated to those traveling on a limited budget or those who want privacy, in the case of renting whole apartments.
You can find rooms for only 15 € the night, and apartment around 50 € / night.
Yes, you must book in advance.

If you are someone who want more privacy at a higher price, I recommend looking for hotels through the website BOOKING or TRIPADVISOR or TRIVAGO. For me, the easier one to use is Booking and you can find cheap rooms too.

NOTICE: To be honest, everything is expensive in Barcelona, so it will surprise you that a 1 single star hotel or hostel have that high price, but the quality of these hotels are very good in the city of Barcelona. Don't worry about finding a very good room because you're going to spend all day visiting places and not in the room.

Not all hotels / rooms have WiFi. It's something necessary today so I recommend checking on the website or ask before booking.

Recommended hotels

Onix hotels: Not long time ago I stayed in this hotel. They have a very good price-quality and "free-buffet" breakfast is included. They have hotels in the most central areas.

Ibis hotels: The hotels chain "IBIS" have a very good price-quality too. Very centric too.

W Barcelona: The famous futuristic hotel. You better stay in the hotel once you pay, luxury price, but awesome. Dedicated to travelers who come with more money.

En Barcelona hay miles y miles de hoteles donde puedes hospedarte y el precio dependerá de la zona, la calidad del hotel, si eres una sola persona o pareja, y la antelación con que reserves.

En primer lugar, recomiendo reservar con AIRBNB, una web dónde puedes encontrar habitaciones o apartamentos baratos alquilados por particulares. Es una opción barata dedicada a aquellos que viajan con poco dinero o aquellos que quieran privacidad, en el caso de alquilar apartamentos enteros.
Puedes encontrar habitaciones por tan solo 15€ la noche, y apartamentos en torno a los 50€/noche.
Eso sí, debes reservar con antelación.

Si eres de los que quieres más privacidad a mayor precio, te recomiendo buscar hoteles a través de la web BOOKING o TRIPADVISOR o TRIVAGO. Para mi la más fácil de usar es Booking y puedes encontrar lugares baratos también.


OJO: Hablando claro, en Barcelona todo es caro, te sorprenderá que un hotel de 1 sola estrella o hostal tenga ese elevado precio, pero la calidad de los hoteles con una y dos estrellas es buena en Barcelona. No te esmeres mucho en encontrar buen sitio pues vas a estar todo el día visitando cosas y no en la habitación.

No todos los hoteles / habitaciones tienen Wifi. Es algo necesario hoy en día por lo que te recomiendo ojear en la web antes de reservar o preguntar.

Hoteles recomendados

Onix hoteles: No hace mucho me hospedé en esta cadena de hoteles. Tienen un precio-calidad muy bueno y el desayuno "buffet libre" está incluído. Tienen los hoteles en las áreas más céntricas.

Ibis hoteles: La cadena de hoteles "IBIS" tienen una calidad-precio bastante buena también. Céntrico.

W Barcelona: El famoso hotel futurista. Una vez que pagas mejor no salgas del hotel, lujo a precio de lujo, pero impresionante. Dedicado a turistas que viajan con más dinerito.
